Leap Day Post

   Creative title, huh? :)
   Just in case you weren't sure, Leap Day only happens once every four years, which is today! The Leap Day babies love to say they're only a fourth of their age, and it's a whole ordeal. So enjoy it! Make those cheesy, over-used jokes count! ;)
   Yeah so anyway, I just felt that a post should be posted on this lovely day. Is it not weird that the "last year" (2012, doom impending) would be a leap year? Well. Yes, it is. So really, this post is a double whammy. :D And if your favorite number is 18, it's a triple whammy, because if you add up the date digits, ya get 18.
   There's my Leap Day post, it wasn't fancy, it wasn't long, but it WAS, and that's all I really cared about. I will leave you with these words: cherish the Leap Day.

Public Passing

   We all know a famous (and loved by many) singer died recently... And as sad as this is, it makes me realize how derpy people can be sometimes! If someone you don't really know or care for dies (not saying this is the case with Whitney Houston), it's nice to be simpathetic to people who did like them, but you dont need to act like you're going to die of sadness just to be part of it. I mean, why would you want to be a part of the saddness anyway? It's kind of an insult to the person really... If it were me, I wouldn't want a bunch of strangers pretending to be torn up about my death, I wouldn't even want my friends to be sad, but you know.
   So all that was really just about be real guys, don't fake feelings for appearances! Just be who you are, and if it's not something your friends like or something they're willing to deal with, then you probably shouldn't be friends with them. On the other hand that doesn't mean you should go overboard. For example if you like cats, you dont need to wear a cat costume everywhere you go... Just don't be afraid to say you like cats! As silly as that sounds, you know what I mean! That was just a simple example. So really! Don't be afraid to express yourself!

What A Lovely Paradox

   I, unlike so many bloggers and facebookers out there, am not going to have a post about Valentines day because really, what more is there to be said? Nothing. Um. But wait. I guess that this kind of backfires because by saying I won't post about it... I just did. :O Well I blew it, I might as well post about it all the way. :|
   Many people are saddened by the fact that their February 14th is Singles Awareness Day, rather than Valentines day, but I for one am not! For those of you who are, here are some lovely choices: 
1) Forget about it! 8)
2) Suck it up. :P
3) Be a slut for a day. B)
4) Find something fun to distract yourself with. 8D
   Lets talk about choice number four, shall we? You need not venture out into a mind-boggling, heart-stopping adventure of a hobby that will captivate you for years to come (although you could) but simply practice a pointless skill for the day or a week or so. You could try to change your handwriting, change your laugh, or get a new look! Memorize the alphabet backwards, memorize the lyrics to a song, or learn morse code!
Refine your musical talent, writing talent, or cleaning abilities! Read a book (quite an amazing option, you could get lost for hours in your own little world), draw the best picture you can of a totally random object, or do a rigorous training routine. Basically anything to occupy your mind for the day. It's better than being a bum! <--- That is a darn good motivational alliterational quote, if I do say so myself! ;)
   And I do.

One Does Not Go
