So, the title is actually the title of fellow bloggers page. ;) I had one of these before, then stopped. :P But then she started! And it made me want to start again. (And now even later, Teeninsulin got me going AGAIN.) XD So, this is just a good job, blogger, and thanks! :D
Here are my two old posts from when I first got this for anyone who wants to read them. ;)
Television of Today!
So I realized something about the common T.V. show of today. Let's start with the good old classics! And for right now, no cartoons. Now, I dont know about you, but my favorite type of show is comedy. Not that slapstick comedy, but ACTUAL comedy. A couple perfect examples of good old fashion shows are Seinfeld and Friends! They, if you havent seen them, are both about a group of friends that get into hilarious circumstances. Skipping forward, a great recent show is The Office. Now that has slapstick and pure old funniness, but they make it work. If you havent seen it, in which case you get a >:(, it's about a incompetant office manager and his workers. I just want to clear something up, I think the American version is slightly more funny than the British version, so thats what I'll be talking about.
Now, in your mind, you have three great series of shows. Do you notice something about them? Well I do! They are funny, entertaining, and all around awesome WITHOUT needing to use the many special effects we have today. Here is the nitty gritty of what I realized. T.V. show producers have been to caught up and focused on the constantly increasing technology. How about some good ol', pure, bubble up and burst out laughter?! 'Cause thats what I value. Or maybe some edge of your seat, absolutely thrilling drama? 'Sall good!
Well, that's the end of my somewhat rantish blog post. There are, of course some things I'd like to say about other forms of technalogical entertainment, but this is all about the T.V. shows. Excluding cartoons. By the way, I dont have anything against cartoons, but it doesn't fit with the post, 'cause you have to use technology for cartoons. :P
Odd Coincidence!
This may not be true of everyone, but for me and a bundle of my friends, there was an odd occurence, coincidence if you will. As I'm sure everyone knows, there was the disasterous earthquake in Japan today. As a result, many fires and a HUGE tsunami were unleashed! :O Understandablely, many people were sympathetic and horrifyed for all of the people in Japan. Also, the ongoing problems in Libya and Egypt don;t help to make a day any better! This is where things get strange! Over where I am, today was a fun and hilarious day! My friends had a bunch of stories to tell about their happy Fridays. And I not only was made happy with these stories, but I also had a great day, mah self! When your a generally optimistic person, it isn't hard to have good days, often. But now and then, a particularlly special day will come up! Of course, holidays and birthdays are usually nice, but there is something extra in these unexpected days. And I suppose that that would be just it! The unexpectedly good days are, of course, unexpected! Things like that can really brighten up the next few days. A really lovely surprise...
So, as I'm sure you realize, this was a weird day to be awesome. I mean, yeah! It's Friday! But the earthquake in Japan and the constant troubles in the East seems like it should have ruined the day. I guess some days are just to good to ruin. ;) Have a GREAT day! :D
Haha! Thank you for acknowledging me and my blog!!!!! I'm sure this will vastly entertaining soon! I love your sub-title thingy: "Thoughts you think you think, but if not, then now you do think you think those thoughts"!
ReplyDelete:D Such fun! Such pride! :D I realize you posted this forever ago, but I didn't know you could reply at the time. I must have been tired. ;) Thanks for reading!
